An estimated 250,000 people showed up to Pope Francis’s funeral on Saturday to say a final farewell. Among those in attendance were a number of world leaders along with pilgrims from all around the globe. Many waited though the night to be part of a congregation like no other. New day, same focus for Liberal Leader Mark Carney on the campaign trail as his message continues to focus on protecting Canadians from U.S. President Donald Trump. Mackenzie Gray reports. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is spending the final days of the campaign blitzing key battlegrounds in Ontario and British Columbia. Poilievre spent Saturday in the Greater Vancouver Area where multiple seats are at play. His next stop is at Sudbury before heading to the suburbs of Toronto. Poilievre needs to win seats in the 905 to form government. He’ll hold one of his final rallies in the Greater Toronto Area. Global’s Touria Izri reports.
