Google's Pixel 10a is set to launch early 2026 and rumours/leaks reveal a troublesome picture. My review of the 9a was overall positive, but Google appears to be re-releasing it as the Pixel 10a this year, if that online chat is right. Which makes this budget-friendly mid-range alternative mostly pointless. It's not been a great time for those Pixels; sure, those flagship phones may be among the best for camera tech, but gaming, battery life and other areas fall down vs rivals. The Pixel 10a is a chance for Google to redeem itself and really compete in a well-stocked mid-range realm. However, it appears like no progress has been made, not even with the price. While the Pixel 10a was originally expected to drop in price vs the 9a, this appears to be early optimism. 549 Euros seems to once again be the price, for the same camera setup, Tensor G4 chipset and battery capacity. Recharging speeds are the same, while the storage options, display tech and audio all seem to be recycled too. Of course, these are simply rumours, and nothing is concrete until the February 2026 launch. But what do you reckon Google should do with the Pixel 10a? Let us know below!
