Months ago, I was at Gamescom in Germany. The biggest gaming conference in the world. There were hundreds of thousands of people at this conference and thousands of game booths, some were the size of 3 story buildings. It was wild to see and Microsoft put up a big showing. They had a Flight Simulator booth, a Doom booth, even a Sea of Thieves booth, but you what they didn’t have: Halo. Their poster boy for the past 20 years, was no where to be found. This series was *the* reason Xbox became a household name in the first place. Now Chief is no where to be seen. Which begs the question: is Halo finally dying?
