Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano erupts, red-hot lava melts camera feed

Footage captured on Dec. 6, 2025 by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) shows the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii spewing lava fountains of approximately 50-100 feet in height. The eruptions were confined to the Halemaʻumaʻu crater within Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Kilauea is one of the world's most active volcanoes and has been erupting intermittently since Dec. 23, 2024.
