About

I'm a 2,000 Elo online chess player from the United States. In 2024 I got back into online chess after a long break from the game, and went from 1,100 Elo to 2,000+ Elo in just 7 months. Now, I help serious online chess players destroy their old rating plateaus, learn how to think like a top 1% online player, and skyrocket their online rating to 1,000 - 2,000+ Elo (just like I did myself). On this channel I share my insights from: -Analyzing hundreds of professional chess games featuring Magnus Carlsen and other top grandmasters -Playing thousands of chess games at the 2000+ Elo level, including how I actually "think" during my games -Teaching hundreds of online chess players who often gain 100 - 400+ Elo in their first 30 days with me ...And more. My mission is spread the joy of chess with as many people around the world as I possibly can, and to inspire others to reach their true potential as online chess players - just as I strive to do myself.

This game was simply insane because Magnus Carlsen launches an “absurd” kingside attack against Hikaru, starting with the idea of Ra3-g3! In the game Magnus Carlsen opens 1.d4 and Hikaru Nakamura responds with the combative Vienna variation of the Queen’s Gambit Declined. From there both sides reach a rather bizarre middlegame position which has become quite trendy at the highest levels, but Magnus was the first to turn up the heat with the move a2-a4, followed by the rook lift Ra3-g3! From there absolute chaos ensued, with both Magnus and Hikaru attacking all-out against each other’s kings! But was Magnus Carlsen’s attack strong enough to finish off Hikaru, or did Hikaru turn the tables and win a shock twist ending vs the GOAT? Make sure to watch till the end of the video to find out! 🔔Thanks for watching!
