I'm a 2,000 Elo online chess player from the United States. In 2024 I got back into online chess after a long break from the game, and went from 1,100 Elo to 2,000+ Elo in just 7 months. Now, I help serious online chess players destroy their old rating plateaus, learn how to think like a top 1% online player, and skyrocket their online rating to 1,000 - 2,000+ Elo (just like I did myself). On this channel I share my insights from: -Analyzing hundreds of professional chess games featuring Magnus Carlsen and other top grandmasters -Playing thousands of chess games at the 2000+ Elo level, including how I actually "think" during my games -Teaching hundreds of online chess players who often gain 100 - 400+ Elo in their first 30 days with me ...And more. My mission is spread the joy of chess with as many people around the world as I possibly can, and to inspire others to reach their true potential as online chess players - just as I strive to do myself.

Join My Chess Community (And Hit 1500 ELO FAST!) - https://www.skool.com/chessmindset The Nimzowitcsch Opening with 1…Nc6 can be played against all of White’s first moves including 1.e4, 1.d4, 1.c4, 1.Nf3, and so on, making it the ONLY opening you need as Black! The key idea with the 1…Nc6 Nimzowitsch Opening is to let White take control of the center with a fast 1.e4 / 2.d4, but then to strike back in the center with a fast 2…d5 or 2…e5! Both of these moves are fully playable as Black, and they lead to wildly different types of positions, so I covered both options in this video so you can mix things up in your own games! Most White players believe the Nimzowitsch Opening is a passive way to play as Black, but the truth is there are a ton of different traps that White has to watch out for. As you’ll see in the video, if White is not careful he can get checkmated in the first few moves of the game! Of course I also cover White’s other options not including a fast e4 / d4, so if you watch the full video you will be fully prepared regardless of what opening strategy White tries!
