How to make Honey Shortbread Cookies with Maple Glaze! || The Cookworm

Delicious crumbly shortbread cookies with a subtle honey flavour, these are a perfect fit with some Hot Tea during Winter! For a more sweet switch up, drizzle on some Maple Glaze! @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Ingredients:- The Cookie:- • 245G Flour • 75G Brown Sugar • 170G Butter (Soften) • 30G Honey • 1/4tsp Baking Powder • Pinch of Salt The Glaze:- • 125G Icing Sugar • 65g Maple Syrup • A little Milk (If the mixture is too thick.) Method:- 1. Beat the Butter for 2-3 mins to loosen. 2. Add in the Sugar and continue to beat for 3-4 mins until light and fluffy. 3. Fold in the Honey until well combined. 4. Sift in the Flour + Baking Powder + Salt and fold to just combined. 5. Wrap up the dough and chill for 30mins in the fridge. 6. Meanwhile make the glaze by whisking in the Maple Syrup into the Icing Sugar until smooth. Cover and set aside. 7. Roll out the dough about 0.5cm thick and stamp out desired shapes. 8. Cover and Freeze cookies for 10mins. 9. Bake the Cookies at 175C for 12-13mins and let cool on a cooling rack. 10. Place glaze into a piping bag and cut off tiny bit of the tip and pipe on chilled cookies. 11. Let the Glazed Cookies dry before storing. 12. Enjoy!
