Video Description

Sign up for our Excel webinar, times added weekly: https://www.excelcampus.com/blueprint-registration/ Learn how to use XLOOKUP to search in reverse order last-to-first or bottom-to-top. This allows us to find the most recent occurrence of entry and return a matching value from another column or row. We also look at how to create a running total reference in our formula to the only search in the rows above the formula. I explain how to create this reference with the structured references (table formulas) using the INDEX function. This is Part 2 of 6 in a series that shows you how to build a dashboard for an attendance report. This dashboard was originally submitted as an entry in the Excel Hash competition: https://youtu.be/FmHBpkscsZA If you’d like to see the accompanying blog post on my website, you can find it at this link: https://www.excelcampus.com/functions/xlookup-reverse-order-search/ Additional Resources: Part 1 of 6: How to use the XOR Function: https://youtu.be/oe8oOmVRKOg Excel Hash: Attendance Report with Storm Clouds & Fireworks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmHBpkscsZA&t=30s XLOOKUP Explained: https://youtu.be/txK0C6SkaMg #MsExcel #ExcelCampus 00:00 Introduction 00:39 Using XLOOKUP 02:35 Running Total References 07:43 Running Totals with Structured References
