Video Description

I trekked down to India's mysterious meteorite crater. See what's down there and why NASA visited it! It's attracted scientists from around the world due to its strange characteristics and anomalies, which I'll show you as I trek down to the base. This is Lonar Lake in the state of Maharashtra. Update: I've visited another incredible crater in India: https://youtu.be/YYUhFoejaW8 Tour guide was Amol Sardar +91 997 544 7088. This video was not sponsored. Lonar Lake is a natural saltwater lake in Maharashtra, India, formed 52,000 years ago due to a meteorite impact. It is located within the Lonar crater and is known for its unique ecological features. The lake is saline, alkaline, and supports diverse microorganisms. It attracts scientists, researchers, and tourists interested in astrobiology and the origin of life. Lonar Lake is also culturally significant, mentioned in ancient texts and surrounded by temples and archaeological sites. It is protected as the Lonar Wildlife Sanctuary. If you want to do this same trip, you can stay at the nearby MTDC Resort in Lonar, and you'll find multiple guides there. I've made a video reviewing this hotel too https://youtu.be/u3RC4Tt0ezs. 00:00 Going inside a meteorite crater 00:15 Things get weird quickly! 00:50 What are we going to see? 01:23 How was Lonar Lake created? 02:55 Why is Lonar special? 4:34 Beautiful running step well 08:11 Incredible temple tour (Kumareshwar Mandir) 13:26 Why do scientists come to Lonar? 14:14 Special stargazing temple (Sri Yagyeshwar Mandir) 16:14 Jungle trek 18:45 A lady forgot her shoes! 21:54 Arriving at the lake 23:09 Testing the lake's water 24:56 Scientific theories about Lonar Lake 26:40 The soil's magnetic power 28:49 Ancient Indian step well and temple 32:20 Compass-breaking magnetism inside temple 33:44 Should you visit Lonar Lake? 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) SUBSCRIBE! ✔ Click https://www.youtube.com/c/KarlRock/?sub_confirmation=1 Then smash the BELL ICON so you don't miss a 🔴live stream or video. 2) SUPPORT THE CONTENT I CREATE & GET SPECIAL BENEFITS 🙏🏻❤️ Press the blue JOIN button or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtfXgNnA-QcxjHJjk5wXLFg/join. 3) WANT TO TRAVEL TO INDIA?
