Nell'angolo più remoto del deserto del Sahara in Mauritania, esiste un piccolo villaggio, così isolato dal mondo da non essere nemmeno sulle mappe. Non esiste neppure una strada per raggiungerlo. Devi sapere come raggiungerlo orientandoti tra le dune. Questo luogo si chiama Dali Koumbé ed è un posto unico al mondo: qui la metà della popolazione è nata "senza occhi" come dicono loro, ovvero non vedente. Si tratterebbe di una leggenda secolare che ancora però fa fatica ad essere spiegata dalla medicina avvolgendo questa tribù nel mistero. Ci siamo spinti fino al confine col Mali per incontrarli e ascoltare la loro storia.
