However, before they can even get out the door, the entire neighborhood, it seems, stops in to ask if they'll place a bet on their behalf. When the local policeman gets wind of bets being taken, he places a little visit to the Kramdens. Also starring Art Carney. This episode took place in 1953, a year of many firsts, including, the development of the first polio vaccine and the discovery of the DNA double helix, which revolutionized science and medicine.
