G'Day. I'm Chani from Australia. Have you ever felt stuck in a rut? Sick of the daily grind? That was me! But what could I do? Nearly 50 with a progressing career, bills to pay and commitments. But there has to be more. I decided to go for it! I thought now or never, I'm about to turn 50 and if I don't go now I will only look back in 10 years and think about what if. My channel will explore leaving behind much loved grown family and friends to live in another country (Japan) on my own. I have moved to the countryside of Japan. I've been dreaming about living in Japan again for a while now. I wasn't keen on a big city so the countryside with all its natural wonders is going to be my base for a while.
