Linus has a WEIRD Problem

I don't know if you guys have noticed, but randomly hosts and big talent from Linus Tech Tips / LMG have been popping up on YouTube as their own independent channels. When you look into this, you find a lot of them have officially left LTT in order to pursue these things (which is based and kinda sick). This leaves me really confused though... like why are they leaving? Linus seems to be in support of their choices, but is this a good idea for the company?
