About

Hello and welcome to my channel. My name is Russ, a life long carpenter. I am one of those fortunate people who knew what i wanted to do when i grow up from a very early age and have followed through with my dreams. My passion is making beautiful things from wood and I also like to dabble in the dark art of metalworking and other skills from time to time. This channel is about pushing the boundaries of my craft while making innovative, unique and interesting projects, I hope the content i make will inspire others to follow their dreams, try new ideas and make interesting projects of their own. Russ.

Video Description

Previously in the house reno I hag ripped out the old plaster from the hallway wall, this wall has been bowing out and had been repeatedly plastered over to the point of being 2-3 inches thick in places! This plastering and movement in the wall had destroyed the coving along one side of the hallway. The arched window mouldings were long gone and I replaced the hallway arch with a steel lintel becasue it had a massive crack running up it. This video shows the making a fitting of the replacement mouldings.
