He believes in government "seizing the means of production" (yes, really). He proposes government-run groceries and much higher taxes on the rich (even though both have failed). Socialist economies were abandoned in Russia, China, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, Zambia, Chile, Israel, Sweden, etc. because socialism wrecks lives. But Americans voters till want to try it? In this video, and the next, we’ll break down why socialist ideas always backfire. Absurdly, Mamdani has so many bad ideas that we had to make two videos to fit them in.
