Cathy Marlow was originally from New Zealand but living and working in Vauxhall, London. Even though it was Saturday, Cathy had just come back from a holiday so she was planning to catch up with some work and then meet a friend for lunch. But when she didn’t turn up the alarm was raised and her body was discovered at her office. She’d been bludgeoned to death and strangled with her own scarf. Detectives at New Scotland Yard had a whole office block as a potential crime scene, and they had to scour every inch to search for clues to Cathy’s murderer. And there were hours of CCTV from the local area, but until they know who they’re looking for that doesn’t help.
