Northeast Ohio Weather Impact forecast: Big changes Wednesday

Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio Weather Impact forecast for Nov. 25, 2025: Steady rain is moving out and will taper off to just a few scattered showers this evening. Temperatures in the 50s this evening will stay steady overnight with just an isolated shower. A cold front arrives Wednesday morning. This front will bring the WIND and the TEMP DROP tomorrow! Expect a round of rain showers in the morning followed by winds gusting over 40 mph and falling temperatures. 50s in the morning will become 30s by the evening. Clouds will fill in with scattered snow showers by late afternoon and evening. Winds stay gusty through Wednesday and into Thursday for many areas. Wind advisories will be in place for most locations. Chilly and windy conditions settle in with highs in the low 30s, feeling more like 20s thanks to winds gusting over 40 mph. This will be a perfect set up for lake effect snow to develop over both days and that will bring in a Weather Impact Alert for Thursday and Friday. The primary snow belt will be the main target for snow and some travel concerns, but the secondary could get in on some snow action too. The drive between Cleveland and Erie/Buffalo could have some travel issues starting Wednesday night, but especially ramping up Thursday and Friday. An early look at snow amounts indicate some locations could pick up a half of foot or more of snow. Totals could exceed a foot up where bands persist, especially up toward Erie and Buffalo. Amounts always fluctuate big time with lake effect snow, but the potential is there for some significant totals if these bands of snow line up east of Cleveland. Winter Storm Watches have been issued for snowbelt counties where impacts could be highest.
