Piracy is for Trillion Dollar Companies | Fair Use, Copyright Law, & Meta AI
GNCA - GamersNexus Consumer Advocacy
@gncainvestigatesAbout
GNCA is consumer-focused, non-reviews channel that focuses on consumer rights issues, the gradual and perpetual erosion of ownership and property by megacorporations, and investigations into companies. Although GNCA does not produce reviews, namesake channel GamersNexus does. These two channels are isolated from each other: GNCA (GamersNexus Consumer Advocacy) will focus entirely and only on consumer rights, advocacy, and investigative stories, whereas GamersNexus will stick purely to computer hardware. We chose to split these topics to allow each to flourish while allowing the audience to more easily choose which content to receive.

SUPPORT GN & GNCA: https://store.gamersnexus.net/black-market-gpu-backers Meta was recently sued for copyright infringement for training its "AI" (LLM) Llama with copyrighted works that it had expressed interest in licensing, but chose not to. The Judge ruled in favor of trillion-dollar company Meta and against book authors, citing Fair Use. This is particularly interesting to us given the recent Bloomberg DMCA aggression against GamersNexus and our own experiences with Fair Use, so we dug into it to learn more.
