My sister plugged a heat gun Into one of the ac ports and the inverter stopped working. -There was no way to replace that inverter so the Unit could only use only be used for dc power from then on. Eventually the charging port also broke so the entire thing just became a $200 paper weight -This problem could have been solved by spending more money on a higher quality power station, and I’ll admit that this has not happened to me since then, but regardless of the quality of your product, this is still a possible threat that you face -With a traditional system, if your solar charge controller stops working, all you have to do is replace it.
