Video Description

This week we tackle one of the most exciting recoveries we’ve ever done – moving The Wheatcroft collections 1943 German Panther tank out of long-term storage and transporting it down to Tey Vehicle Restorations in Colchester. We start by bringing in our Foden recovery truck to pull the Panther out of a tight shed where it’s been sitting for years. Once it’s free, we load the tank onto Crouch Recovery’s heavy haulage trailer for the long journey south. Because we needed the Foden again at Tey’s yard, we actually had to low-loader the Foden itself on an Adam Betts heavy haulage lorry, move it across the country, and then use it again to unload the Panther inside the restoration workshop. A proper full-scale military recovery and logistics puzzle — and the beginning of this Panther’s new life. If you enjoy this kind of content, make sure to subscribe. We’ve got some incredible projects coming up!
