Mix the first 4 ingredients in a large pot. Heat until it just starts to boil. Remove from heat. 2. Mix in a splash of vanilla. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. 3. Press into a lined 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Refrigerate for a few hours, or overnight. 4. Slice into granola bars and wrap in parchment paper. Canned Apple Cider (recipe I found online but I can't find who it's from) Ingredients 5 lbs apples, sliced 3 oranges, sliced 1 cup maple syrup or brown sugar 5 cinnamon sticks 2 TBSP whole cloves 1/2 tsp all spice 1/2 tsp nutmeg Cover to 1 inch with water How to 1. Add everything to a large pot and simmer for 3 hours. 2. Mash, and continue simmering for another 1/2 hour. 3. Strain and pour into quart sized jars.
