Video Description

Massacre: During the Second Sudanese Civil War in November 1991, Nuer militants from the SPLA and the White Army, under the command of current South Sudanese First Vice President Riek Machar, murdered thousands of Dinka in the region of Bor. Tens of thousands more, deprived of their land and cattle, died in the subsequent famine. Today, Machar is under house arrest and facing murder charges for another massacre committed by the White Army in March 2025. This report, comprising exclusive footage shot on the scene, features an interview with Machar exploring his role in the atrocity.
