About

I’m on a mission to sail a 1910 sailboat (named TALLY HO) halfway around the world to compete in the race that she won in 1927. When I purchased the boat in 2017 she was a rotten hulk, but over the next 7 years, with the help of a lot of amazing people, I rebuilt TALLY HO from the keel up - documenting and funding the process through my YouTube videos. Now the adventure continues with a huge voyage ahead of us - and along the way we will be undertaking lots of projects, learning traditional maritime skills, and visiting interesting people and places.

We are given a fish, cross paths with Orca Whales, ghost underneath some huge cliffs, and arrive in a secluded anchorage where we tour another wooden boat - a beautiful 1930s Yawl. Meanwhile, I work through the job-list on board Tally Ho - servicing the heater, mounting a vice in the forepeak, and attempting to fix a water pump. —— To become a Patron - https://www.patreon.com/sampsonboatco To donate or support - http://sampsonboat.co.uk/support For sneaky previews of what’s going on in between episodes, follow my FACEBOOK http://www.facebook.com/sampsonboatco and INSTAGRAM http://www.instagram.com/sampsonboatco.
