Happy Wednesday Everyone! I can't believe it's almost August. The other day I was talking to my husband about the fact that we have been in Portugal for over a year now. Time really does fly when you're having fun! During that conversation, we were talking about how we know so many families who live in other areas of Portugal who later moved because it wasn't for them. Don't worry, they didn't move away from Portugal, but found another town that worked better for them. I asked a few of them why they had moved and they had always replied back that when they had initially stayed at that town during their scouting trip, that it felt more like a vacation than actual living. So they loved the feeling. Don't get me wrong. I love vacation feeling, but is it practical for everyday life? Taking the time off to fly to a new country for a week or two isn't cheap. What's also not cheap? Moving the whole family to a city based on a one night stay. That's why I wanted to create this video in hopes that it will help you with your scouting trip.
