Reviewing the Poco F7 Pro, another banging Xiaomi mid-range smartphone boasting some of the best battery life of 2025. Gaming performance is smooth and the media creds are solid, but the Poco F7 Pro does scale back the camera setup. Likewise, Xiaomi's HyperOS isn't for everyone and there's some missing features like eSIM support. However, for £500 UK there's a lot to like here. I'm not a fan of that design, it's not my favourite, but many people think the Poco F7 Pro smartphone looks lovely. That AMOLED screen is a stunner and the stereo speakers are plenty powerful. Likewise, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can handle Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact and other memory-sucking games. The Poco F7 Pro's camera setup is limited, especially vs the Ultra or the Nothing Phone 3a duo. No telephoto zoom, just a basic ultra-wide shooter, that's it. All the same, this blower is one of the best mid-range phones for capturing photos of your family thanks to the nippy shutter speed. Nice. One of the best features of the Poco F7 Pro however is the battery life. That 6000mAh cell is even bigger than the Ultra phone, while the 80W charging tops it up quickly. Shame about the lack of wireless recharging.
