February 14th is Valentine's Day, the day we celebrate love💞In my video I show how you can make simple Valentine's Day cakes at home and there is a very easy Decorations tutorial in the video. Inside the Valentine's Day cakes is a delicious Chocolate cake and a dark Chocolate cream (Ganasch). I make 2 Chocolate cakes and put them together with Ganach and with the heart cutter I use, there will be 28 cakes. You can just make one Chocolate cake and divide it in half. When the cake is put together, it is important that you put it in the frige for 1 hour. I make 8 different decorations, some are easy and some a little difficult. A little tip for when you are going to write with Royal Icing on the cakes is: Take a toothpick and just as carefully cut the text you want to write with icing into the Chocolate. It is easier to write with icing when you can follow the lines. The cake is very soft and lovely and can keep for 14 days in the fridge, you can easily start well in advance so you are ready to spoil your special someone on Valentine's day.
