In February 1939, Nazi Germany launched its most powerful battleship—the Bismarck, marking a new era of German naval dominance. By May 1941, British naval intelligence uncovered a dire threat: the Bismarck, accompanied by the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, was preparing to break into the North Atlantic to disrupt Allied convoys. From a top-secret underground war room in London, Captain Jonathan Shepard (Kenneth More) leads the high-stakes mission to track and sink the Bismarck before it can wreak havoc.
