On December 21st, 2019, police in Arkansas responded to a 911 call regarding a woman found in a pool of blood. Upon arrival, officers encountered a visibly distraught man, William Glover, frantically screaming and pacing outside the residence. William told officers he had gone into the living room to check on his wife and discovered her lying on the couch, covered in blood and unresponsive. Officers immediately cleared the residence to ensure it was safe. Paramedics arrived shortly after and confirmed that the woman—later identified as Sonya Glover—showed no signs of life. While inside the home, officers also encountered another male—19-year-old Carson Glover, William’s son. When asked what had happened, Carson claimed he didn’t know, stating he had just come into the living room to see what was going on. Carson was escorted out of the house, and the home was secured as a crime scene. Both William and Carson were transported to the police station for further questioning.
