After a long hike through a foggy and cold forest, accompanied by downpours and heavy rain, I found a suitable spot for camping. Without wasting time, I set up a sturdy tarp shelter next to a beech tree, using a canvas tarp to protect myself from the wind and rain. The rain was relentless. My clothes were completely soaked, and all the firewood in the forest was wet. However, using survival and bushcraft techniques, I successfully lit a fire despite the challenging conditions. To make the most of the heat, I built a reflector wall to direct warmth back toward my shelter. Once the fire was stable, I started collecting semi-dry firewood to ensure I had enough fuel for the night. On my way, I found some wild violet flowers, which I used to prepare a soothing herbal tea to keep warm in the cold weather. The temperature dropped sharply, and at times, snow mixed with the rain. To regain energy for this harsh and stormy night, I grilled a lamb leg over the fire. As night approached, I headed toward a nearby river to collect fresh water for drinking. The sound of rain pouring down, the songs of birds in the distance, the warmth of the fire, and the cozy shelter I built made this an unforgettable experience in the wild.
