Born in 1938, Nobel prize nominee Ngugi wa Thiong’o wrote his first book while still a student at Makerere University in the early sixties. He has since gone on to pen a hoard of widely acclaimed books, including "Weep Not,Child", "Decolonising the Mind", "I will Marry When I want" and "Wizard of the Crow". Professor Ngugi has repeatedly been tipped for the prestigious Nobel Prize for Literature since 2010. In an exclusive interview with Talk Africa, Professor Ngugi talks about on his life, his works and his views on contemporary society.
