Though his immense size is intimidating, Fee Fo quickly reveals a warm heart and a generous spirit. The gentle giant invites the children — along with Paddy O’Cinnamon — to the Goody-Goody Grove, a magical place where desserts grow on trees and every treat is sweeter than the last. Over a whimsical feast of chocolate éclairs, cream puffs, and fantastical forest goodies, Fee Fo tells his story: once an island resident, he was captured and transformed by the wicked Wintergreen Witch, enlarged beyond escape and trapped in the forest. Before the children continue their adventure, Fee Fo gives them a magical whistle. Should they ever need help, they need only blow it three times and he will come running.
