Perfect for holidays, parties, birthdays, Christmas, and New Year celebrations. “Shells” – a delicious appetizer with a delicate, flavorful filling. Enjoy your cooking ❣ 🧾 INGREDIENTS: Puff Pastry Base Yeast-free puff pastry – 500 g Egg (for brushing) – 1 ➡️ Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes 🥗 FILLING I: Crab sticks – ~200 g Processed cheese – ~200 g (2 pcs) Boiled eggs – 2 Garlic – 3 cloves Mayonnaise – 2–3 tbsp (~80 g) Dill – to taste Salt & pepper – to taste Quail eggs – 9 pcs (Can be replaced with black olives or even caviar). 🥗 FILLING II: Crab sticks – 200 g Hard cheese – 100 g Tomato – 1 small Smoked meat – 100 g Boiled eggs – 1–2 Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp Salt & pepper – to taste Olives – 9 pcs 💡 The filling can be completely customized — choose your favorite ingredients! 👩‍🍳 COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Defrost the puff pastry in the refrigerator. Without rolling it out, cut into squares (about 10×10 cm). Trim the corners on one side to create decorative edges. On the opposite flat side, gather the dough in the center and press firmly. Use a skewer to make grooves and lightly press them in. Place the shells on a baking sheet and brush with egg. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes until golden. Let cool slightly, then carefully make a slit along the shell (do not cut through). Fill each shell with about 1.5 tablespoons of filling. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. 🍽 BON APPETIT!
