Under the decklid now sits a 964-generation air-cooled 3.8-litre flat-six, rebuilt and tuned to send 270kW (360hp) to the rear wheels via a close-ratio 915 five-speed manual transmission and Modena Motorsport limited-slip differential. The 1010kg curb weight and uprated engine equate to an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 2.8kg/hp.
