Video Description

In a world in which there are people trying to send a rocket to Mars and almost anyone has access, in their pocket, to information from every part of the globe, there is another group of people, living deep in the most remote reaches of the world’s greatest rain forest, who live much like they always have. In an age in which we know the chemical composition of distant planets, we don’t know for sure how many there are or even, in many cases, what languages they speak. This video tells the story of the uncontacted people of the Amazon rainforest and why we might just have to contact them… https://buymeacoffee.com/lostincontext Significant footage taken from the documentary First Contact: Lost Tribe of the Amazon (2016, Angus MacQueen).
