#Warfare recreates co-writer/co-director Ray Mendoza's real experience as a Navy SEAL during the Iraq War, so he and co-writer/co-director Alex Garland (Warfare, Ex Machina) put this team of dedicated, young actors through a three-week boot camp to ready them to act like soldiers. D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai plays Mendoza, while #JosephQuinn, Will Poulter, Charles Melton, and #KitConnor all portray real soldiers that were involved in the 2006 Battle of Ramadi.
