Hi,, we are Bec, Sam, Isabella & Euan. After selling our house in the UK & travelling Europe in a motorhome for 10 months we have bought a derelict farm in Ireland. We are keen to try and live an off grid life, free from debt whilst bringing the farm back to its former glory. We have to admit that the past week has been hard. Sam especially is feeling it. It's not surprising, really considering how hard he's worked for the fire service, helping clear up after the storm. We both had wobbles, but it's time now to draw a line under it and keep moving forward. We get some good news about the grant, and that has helped take the pressure off. We start to clad the fireplace which doesn't go as easily as I expected plus exciting news the doors and windows are going in & you nay get a sneak peak in the background of them. 😉
