My online class, “The Origins of 9/11,” launches November 11, 2024. Here are three sample video chapters from the class which will give you a sense of what we’ll be covering and what the style is. The three chapters cover: the foundation of al-Qaeda, by Osama bin Laden and others, in Peshawar, Pakistan in 1988 (Chapter 15 of the class); a profile of Ramzi Yousef, an al-Qaeda operative active in the early 1990s and associated with the 1993 World Trade Center attack (Chapter 22 of the class); and an examination of some of the conspiracy theories about 9/11 and an explanation of why they are false (Chapter 53 of the class). This is for viewers who may not be able to take the class itself but are curious about what’s in it. This is the final video in the run-up to the course. The course is $397.
