In Africa, Christianity is the biggest Religion Followed By Islam. In many African Countries Christians and Muslims coexist peacefully. Christians share a common faith in that they believe in Jesus Christ or Son of God. Islam on the other Hand believes in Prophet Muhammad and Allah. Religion in Africa is a very divine entity and is deeply embedded in many African Societies. In some African Countries, religion is very powerful that it is even used to determine political shifts and positions of Power. That being said in Africa, region is highly varied with Christianity being the Dominant religion accounting for about 63% of the Total population followed by Islam at 30%. Christians Identify themselves as followers of Jesus Christ who they believe is their Savior and Son of God. Though they share the same faith, Christians are largely divided into Protestants and Catholics.
