Out of all the trips I've ever taken, this was one of the most meaningful. Ukraine. A country that was invaded almost 4 years ago, and continues fighting for it's survival until today. Everyone knows about that, everyone has seen the news. But what is it like living in Ukraine in 2025? What is it like to travel the country, where there are no flights? What is like to be in a country where at any moment, air raid sirens could ring out, and a drone or missile could strike you? Somehow millions of Ukraine live with this reality everyday, and they're VERY used to it. As someone who was put into jail for calling the Russian war in Ukraine an invasion - yes, that's right - I was more than ready to go and meet the people fighting this insane regime.
