Joni Sheppard, a representative from the library, shared details about the initiative, which includes traditional bouquets featuring books, flowers, and chocolates. This year, the library has expanded its offerings to include children's Valentine boxes, each containing a book, candy, and a reading buddy. "We've expanded a little bit this year because books are always a good idea," Sheppard said. "It's for a great cause because it funds our summer reading program." The program aims to provide children with engaging summer activities, especially for those who may not have the opportunity to travel or participate in other events. "We make sure every week they have something fantastic to experience," Sheppard explained. Customers can personalize their book selections by filling out a questionnaire about their preferences, ensuring a tailored gift for their Valentine. Orders can be placed online at silsbeelibrary.org, with options for in-person purchases at the library.
