We put our tent on the ground and headed straight the the beach to enjoy some quality time with the nieces and nephews. But PEI has so much more to offer then just the campground and because I am personally a kid as well, I was so happy to go to Sandspit Amusement Park in Cavendish Beach. We all had a lot of fun riding the go-karts, roller coaster, bumper cars and more. We highly suggest you stay until the sun goes down so you can see all the light come on. Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island is also worth visiting when traveling to the province. This is your typical small Canadian town filled with charm, restaurant and small boutiques. Don't forget to have some ice cream at Cow's Ice Cream which is to some people the best ice cream in the world. Finally, for our last night in P.E.I. the entire family to the beach in Twin Shores campground for a fantastic sunset and seafood dinner. We got some lobster and muscles, cooked them right in ocean water and on the beach before all sitting down together and watching the sunset.
