So you want to hike the Tour du Mont Blanc? We sat down after our hike to give you a full rundown of what we think you should know before you go! This was one of the most incredible hiking/backpacking trips we have ever done, and we cannot recommend taking on this massive trail enough. The views, the food, the crepe stands along the trail, the people, and the huts were all such a wonderful way to experience the Alps. It set a new standard for backpacking trips (unfortunately will not find anything close to this in the US!!). We learned a TON on this trip, and went into the trail pretty blind, and wanted to package it all together for you before you have to learn some things the hard way (like we did)!! Whether you’re thinking this trail is a few years out, or you’re starting to book huts, or you’re a few days out from your hike, I hope this can help you feel more prepared and stoked for this amazing experience!
