The most notable is the 2013 El Reno tornado, when 4 different storm chasing vehicles were impacted, two vehicles deadly, one of which was Twistex. Next is the 2019 incident in Kansas when two of Silver Lining Tours vans were hit. The next was the 2023 Rolling Fork tornado when two different storm chasers were hit by the nighttime EF4. And the last is the Lewistown tornado, when two chase vehicles, one led by Tanner Charles and the other being… myself. Note 1: The tail lights shown in the video are not actually Twistex’s tail lights, those were actually from the dominator. However, Twistex WAS in front of the dominator, but the reason I didn’t use that footage in the video is because it is not available in the creative commons like the footage used in this video. Note 2: Recent research in the Twistex incident has found that they momentarily stopped, and tried to reverse from their position to let the tornado pass to their east, but unfortunately the tornado looped back at them at the very worst moment. This was determined by the timing and location of Dan Robinson’s rear dash cam photo, and the fact that the Twistex vehicle was found in reverse. #tornado #documentary
