I bought a Laguna Fusion F2 table saw and I think it is the most compelling cases out there as a suitable SawStop alternative. This is not a table saw review - simply my thought process on why I ultimately chose to invest in a Laguna tool versus a SawStop. I will start by saying I have nothing against SawStop. In fact, I think they are absolutely phenomenal tools. I was very close to buying one but I couldn't help but think there has got to be another option out there, especially for less money. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that Laguna was the best alternative. In this video I give some very high level reasons why I chose Laguna over a SawStop.
