Russia is now routinely sending troops into battle on the back of motorbikes, with up to 100 of them taking part in attacks. They usually carry some kind of drone jammer with them but are otherwise completely unprotected, deliberately sacrificing armour for speed. Their goal is to get across the 12 and a half mile no-man’s land between Russian and Ukrainian lines in five minutes or less to launch an attack - otherwise a swarm of FPV drones will begin hunting them down.
