The Ukraine war may have started off as one of trenches and artillery barrages like the wars of 100 years ago, but it is increasingly becoming a war of 21st century drones - and they’re becoming extremely sophisticated. This is one of Kyiv’s latest innovations, an aircraft carrier drone: A remote-controlled boat drone which carries additional remote-control FPV drones inside which it then launches into the air near its target. Rather than deploying single drones with a single battlefield effect, Ukraine is now combining multiple drones to produce multiple effects and inventing a whole new kind of warfare in the process.
