In 2018, he received the First-Class Award for Outstanding Works in Chinese Economic Thought History. He has taught at Bryant University in the United States, Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai College, Shenzhen University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and the Institute of Modern History at Academia Sinica in Taiwan. He has held positions as a visiting professor, associate professor, assistant professor, and senior visiting scholar. Currently, he serves as a researcher at the Center for Taiwan and Hong Kong Studies at National Sun Yat-sen University (part-time).
