Abandoned for 23 Years and Covered in Vines OVERGROWN LAWN TRANSFORMATION

Hey everyone! In today's video I am working on a property that has been abandoned for 23 years! The neighbor I spoke to told me the young family that used to live in the house moved out after the husband tragically died in a motorcycle accident on his way back home from his job at the hospital. After the accident the wife and children moved out and the property has been vacant ever since. The neighbor said that the city mows the lawn but they only show up once or twice a year. So, the grass was super tall! About 3 to 5 feet tall in the front yard and over 6 feet tall in the backyard. With this lawn I had to start with the mowing. Then I weed eated and removed the vines that had grown onto the house. I raked up the clippings and edged the paved area which revealed a hidden walkway to the front door. This was a big project but I enjoyed doing this transformation. Once I was finished the lawn was yellow and looked "dead," so I've decided I am going to mow this lawn a second time in the near future. I want to wait till some of the grass grows back and looks a little greener.
