The Canon EOS Rebel T7 (1500D, 2000D, and Kiss X90) was the end of the Canon entry-level DSLR lineage. Canon produced the T7 until they discontinued all of their DSLR cameras in 2021 and switched exclusively to mirrorless and the EOS R mount. As of this video's recording, no direct successor to the T7 existed; however, as of this video's editing, Canon has released two R-mount APS-C cameras (Canon EOS R10 and Canon EOS R7), though both have substantial features improvements versus the T7.
