Clemson vs. Florida State: For the first time in school history, the Clemson Tigers are ACC Softball Champions. For the third time in the tournament, the Tigers had to pull off a late-game comeback to win. This time, they defeated the Florida State Seminoles 2-1. Hallie Wacaser hit a solo home run in the third inning to give Florida State the lead. Then, in the top of the seventh inning, following a leadoff walk, Kylee Johnson hit a two-run home run way over the centerfield fence to put Clemson in front. FSU challenged in the bottom of the seventh by getting the first two batters on base, but they never advanced as Clemson got the next three batters out to secure the championship victory. Brook McCubbin pitched the final four innings to earn the win.
